This is why I have been MIA…

Sorry for not blogging lately, I admit I’m horrible at it but I want to show you why I have been MIA for a while, first I will start out with the weddings, I had 3 weddings back to back in May, One wedding in June and more at the end of the year but this is what I have so far!

Ok now that we go through the weddings from the beginning of the summer, I want to share personal info. For my birthday, Phillip didn’t know what to get me but I have been talking about going on the Showit Pass Tour to see a few of my favorite photographers and graphic designer. Well he got me ticket’s to see them AHHHHHHHHHHH I was sooooo excited!!! Phillip and I took a roadtrip to D.C. for a day to listen to the fabulous people who have been touring the U.S.

JULY 1, 2011

was a very special day for me and Phillip, we went to the beach for the weekend and when we got there we decided to hang out on the beach for a while before the sun went down. Phillip runs up to the house and comes back with something in his hand…… it was a ring, he said somethings and asked me to marry him…

I mean 6 years later, I said “yes” of course!

This was hours after, we forgot to take a picture before haha

UPDATE

Here is a little update on what I have been doing the last few months and of course I can’t show you all of the bridal images until after the wedding so here is a break down of the sessions I have been working on!

Alex + Kenny =e_session

This couple can’t get any cuter the way they look at each other. I had the privilege to photograph their engagement session and I will have the honor of photographing their wedding in September! I can not wait until their wedding day! Here are some of my favorite images from yesterday

Emily + Derek

Here are good friends of ours and they are having their first baby! I asked them last minute if they wanted to have their maternity pictures taken and they both said yes! In these picture’s it looks like it’s warm and we were having so much fun, but we played it off so good,  it was SO cold, like in the 30′s and snowing. We had a great time but had to take breaks in between! Here are some of my favorite images from that day.

Last November we went to NYC for the weekend, it’s not unusual for us taking weekend trips but this time we stayed in the city for a night! I can walk around the city all day and still not have all the pictures I want. I  know I posted about NY probably when I got back but I was going through my images the other night and came across these pictures. I may have to make another trip soon!!

Kelly Moore

I got a Kelly Moore camera bag for Christmas and I am still in love with it!!! It’s small but perfect for going out on shoots that you don’t need a lot of equipment. I just wanted to share this with you all. I am going to work harder on blogging more, and I know I say it but I really am going to push myself even if it’s just talking about my cat and dog fighting while I’m trying to blog… yeah they are fighting right now. I hope everyone has a great night!

Aleah + Justin =eSession

Sunday I had the privilege of photographing the cutest couple ever, Aleah and Justin! The way they look at each other you know it’s true love! They were such naturals in front of the camera! Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Hurley and Lola

December 10th we adopted a new addition to our family, Lola she is a Collie mix we think. The sweetest dog anyone could ever ask for. We already have a cat named Hurley and he is deaf, yeah don’t feel sorry for him because he knows what he’s doing. I always tell people “he just doesn’t understand” oh but he does! We are coming up on a month since we adopted her and Hurley still isn’t understanding to a new pet in the house. He is always swatting at her (he’s declawed so don’t worry)  and she just wants to play. What to do, Hurley is a boy and Lola is a girl, you would think he would be nice to her every once in a while. Hurley has always been the bully when we have our friends over, he growls, bites, hisses. When it’s just us alone he’s sweet and sorta cuddly… Can anyone give us ideas on making Hurley understand that Lola’s going to be living here and he can’t keep bullying her.

Don’t worry he doesn’t bite her, just scares her a little

The Holidays

are crazy for me but I love every second of it! I have been working none stop waking up at 5 a.m. to work then get ready for my regular job, then come home cook dinner and work some more. I am so ready for Christmas vacation just to relax! I want to share with you a few pictures that have been taken in the past month. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!  I will be back next year with new ideas and ready to go!!
