The Holidays

are crazy for me but I love every second of it! I have been working none stop waking up at 5 a.m. to work then get ready for my regular job, then come home cook dinner and work some more. I am so ready for Christmas vacation just to relax! I want to share with you a few pictures that have been taken in the past month. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!  I will be back next year with new ideas and ready to go!!

two days ago I got an email from a client that she wants her baby photographed in his baptism outfit I’m excited b/c I’ve never photographed this and I love challenges! I was thinking I know I don’t have an out there background and I LOVE natural available light, I don’t want to use my studio lights so what do I do… Being Phillip is my handy man I talked to him and told him what I was looking for and we went straight to Lowe’s we both had the vision in our heads so it was an easy shopping experience. Basically what I was envisioning was a blue wall, but not just a blue wall, a splotchy blue wall I primed, he made the frame, then I sat in my living room and started painting, then came time to do the splotches………. I had the vision but was trying to figure out how I was going to do this with just a small paint brush. Well after an hour or two it all came together and when I woke up this morning the whole thing was put together and I LOVE IT!!!!! It was exactly how I envisioned it and Phillip knew just what to do

I am photographing for facebook profile headshots! If you want to update your profile pic, email me to schedule an appointment for either the 6th or 7th for a 30 minute session

Session Fee is $10

You get to pick out what image you like the best for your profile the same day!

You will receive a tagged facebook profile image, if you are interested in purchasing prints I will have discounted packages available.

This is only for the 6th and 7th so hurry and schedule your appointment!

If you bring a friend or boyfriend the session fee will only be $15 for the two of you!

David Ziser

I went to a Photography seminar Monday night and learned so much about lighting and marketing. David Ziser is a wonderful portrait/wedding photographer, the class was 4.5 hours long and it went by so fast. I now have so many new ideas, I have been on websites searching and learning more about using my 5d mk2 and using video while at a wedding and incorporating video into a slideshow for the bride and groom.  I’m so ready to do a wedding and use my new ideas in it!
